Do you want to stay out of trouble? I don’t know if you’re a troublemaker, but I tend to fall down at times. I tend to get distracted. I tend to drift. But God is able to watch over me and to watch out for me and to protect me. So if I’ve gone astray I just have to stop and listen and turn in the direction of his voice. If you’re wondering which way to go, take a moment and listen to his voice. His voice will call you home. His voice will lead you to safety.
One of the things I love about God’s word is how practical it is.
This is a prayer from the Bible
“Keep watch over me and keep me out of trouble;
Don’t let me down when I run to you.”
Psalm 25:20 MSG
We can trust Him to keep us from trouble. If you listen, he will warn you and keep watch over you.
