You Can Trust God’s Word

When I went through Seminary, ironically everything about God’s Word was tested. It was like people had a pair of scissors and they would tend to cut out the passages in the Bible that did not agree with what they believed. A total transformation took place in my life, when I made the Word of God my standard, and ruler on how I should live life.

A remarkable, step-by-step change began to take place when God’s Word became a mirror in my life. With the help of His Holy Spirit, the Bible was no longer a dry historical book, it was a living and active tool for daily change. Nothing has changed me more, that the diligent study of God’s word.

There are so many things about life that are imperfect but the Word of God is perfect and when you read it it revives your soul.  There are so many things about life that you can’t trust, but his decrees are trustworthy and in fact if you feel simple he makes you wise when you meditate on his word.

The Bible says,

The instructions of the Lord are perfect,

reviving the soul.

The decrees of the Lord are trustworthy,

making wise the simple. Psalm 19:7 NLT

God’s word is a blueprint for our lives. If we don’t take time to read it, we will miss out of reviving and restoring peace that he brings daily to our hearts.
