Day 17 - Living On Purpose: Unveiling Your True Calling

As we seek Jesus first in prayer, he reveals his divine call or purpose for our lives. We are called to love him and love others. Each one of us have a unique calling.

Reflection :

Consider the purpose God has uniquely designed for your life. How do Scriptures inspire and guide your calling?

Fulfilling Destiny: Embracing Your Unique Purpose

1. Understanding Your Identity:

Recognize that your identity is rooted in Christ. Ephesians 2:10 (NIV) states, “For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.”

2. Seeking God’s Guidance:

Proverbs 3:5-6 (NIV) encourages us to, “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.”

3. Utilizing Your Gifts:

Identify and utilize the gifts and talents that God has bestowed upon you. 1 Peter 4:10 (NIV) reminds us, “Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms.”

4. Perseverance Through Challenges:

James 1:12 (NIV) states, “Blessed is the one who perseveres under trial because, having stood the test, that person will receive the crown of life that the Lord has promised to those who love him.”

5. Impact Through Love:

Galatians 5:13 (NIV) emphasizes, “You, my brothers and sisters, were called to be free. But do not use your freedom to indulge the flesh; rather, serve one another humbly in love.

Remember, your purpose in Christ is a dynamic journey that unfolds as you seek Him and allow His guidance to shape your life.

About Purpose in Prayer :

The Bible serves as the blueprint, and the Holy Spirit, the Divine Contractor, is shaping you for the future. Trust God with your mistakes and successes; He redeems both for His glory. Your salvation is a gift, and God has prepared a unique path for you to walk in.

Creator God, I marvel at the masterpiece You’ve designed me to be. Thank You for a purposeful life and the talents to fulfill it. I commit to follow You and embrace the good things You planned for me. In Your name, I pray, amen.
