You Can Do It

My daughter came to me in tears one night. “Mom, we have to run the mile tomorrow. It’s my last chance to make the soccer  team.”

“What do you want me to do honey? Do you want me to come to practice? She wiped her tears and nodded her head.

So The next day I showed up and as I am watching her run her final lap around the track and I’m listening to the coach call out the time, I realize that she’s not going to make it. So in a split second I chose what to do.

I dropped my purse and sprinted across the center of the football field in front of everyone  to the other side of the track. I put my hand on her back and said, “YOU CAN DO IT!” Immediately, she increased her pace and ran to the finish line with the cheers of everyone.  Today I say to you, “YOU CAN DO IT!”

With over 25 years of marriage and ministry, Wayne and Sue have a heart help couples to build marriages that last.  Sue’s newest book, 9 Traits of a Life-Giving Marriage, grew out of their heart to help couples grow closer to God and to each other. In their pastoral ministry to marriages, Wayne and Sue have seen how sharing their own struggles can help create a safe context for couples to be transparent and honest with their own issues. They have been helping couples find freedom and transformation through conferences, marriage retreats, seminars, and coaching through out their entire marriage. Known for their transparency and honesty, Wayne and Sue have helped hundreds of couples find freedom and transformation in their own marriages.
